[Product Introduction] The N-NOX EIGHT8 series is a sports sunglasses with a wide field of view due to the single lens and twisted temples that have evolved from the SOU series. The frameless structure makes it lightweight and the inside of the temples have a silicone anti-slip coating that makes it difficult to slip and it is designed to be used for long periods of time with less stress. The evolved twisted temples allow the upper and lower temples to fit flexibly and independently. The nose pads are also adjustable making it a lightweight sports model designed for jogging marathons and various other sports. [Accessories] A black semi-hard case is included. [Brand Description] SWANS is a domestic brand produced by Yamamoto Kogaku Co. Ltd. founded in 1911. Based on Japanese head data the product is designed to suit Japanese people and the technology to control light that has been cultivated over more than 100 years of history has led to the products being supported by many top athletes both in Japan and abroad. [What is visible light transmittance] It is a numerical value of the amount of light that passes through the lens. The naked eye condition is 100% and the value is displayed as 0% to 100%. The lower the number the darker the lens which does not transmit light. [What is polycarbonate] The polycarbonate used in SWANS sunglasses is a resin with excellent impact resistance and transparency and is also used in aircraft windshields and space suit helmets. It is impact resistant and does not break easily and even if it does break it does not shatter making it a highly safe material for sports sunglasses lenses. SWANS uses a unique scratch-resistant lens called Petroid Lens based on this polycarbonate.
